The Building Performance Institute (BPI) has announced that it has passed 25,000 certifications. This is a real indicator of the acceptance of the home performance industry and the desire for improved quality standards in residential construction.
Of the 25,000, about 62% (15,770) are building analyst professionals and 21% are envelop professionals.

Peoples Gas Customers: Super Rebate on Attic Insulation. Here's how the notice reads:
Now Announcing Higher “Kicker” Rebates! Higher rebate amounts are available for select qualifying product purchases and installations made on or after March 1, 2011, through May 31, 2011. There are no additional participation requirements to receive these higher rebates. Simply submit the regularly required Program documents for qualified purchases and installations within 60 days of product installation, or by June 30, 2011, whichever comes first.
